Oltco recently received accreditation from SAFEcontractor, a programme that recognises very high standards of health and safety practise amongst UK contractors. One of Oltco’s key products is Etchgrip (a chemical etching treatment). This product is used to make tiles, terrazzo, concrete and stone surfaces anti slip. Under the SAFEcontractor system, businesses undergo a vetting process, which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice. Those companies meeting the high standard are included on a database, which is accessible to registered users only, via a website.

Oltco repackage EtchGRIP DIY kit. After the success of the original DIY kit, Oltco have worked closely with Agnew Design to come up with a new concept and package design to be launched in the New Year.

During a study, a real demand for smaller areas to be treated was noticed. Bathrooms, entrance areas and kitchens to name a few. It was to expensive in some cases to have our installation team carry out the works, so the step by step guide DIY treatment kit was introduced. 

EtchGRIP is mainly thought of as an industrial solution, yet time after time the kits where going out to people at home. The new design is simply more eye catching and will be released in D.I.Y stores, tile stores, home hard ware stores and available within the Oltco website.

What is EtchGRIP?

EtchGRIP is a chemical flooring treatment that will increase the slip resistance of your floor in wet conditions. EtchGRIP is not a coating that can flake off but a surface treatment that will create a much safer floor in the wet.
